The paediatric first aid course takes place over two days in Colchester, Essex. The course is, of course, educational but also fun and informal. If you take part in the child care first aid Training course, this also takes place over two days, however, one day is an e-learning module in which you can participate in the comfort of your own home and the final day is in the classroom. 

Our two-day paediatric first aid training course covers the following topics: the roles and responsibilities of a first aider, accident and incident reporting, first aid equipment, infection control, site and primary survey, calling for help, CPR, unconscious casualty, including seizures, choking, serious bleeding, shock management, anaphylactic shock, minor injuries, childhood illnesses and disease and, finally, post-incident. 

This pediatric first aid course is available as a regulated RQF qualification, fully recognised in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. It is made up of units and credits, regulated by OFQUAL, the department that regulates qualifications, exams and tests in England and vocational qualifications in Wales and Northern Ireland. The pediatric first aid is a level 3 Qualsafe course.
