This course was designed as a one-off course for healthcare staff working in an Immigration Removal Centre.
The client wanted a course that would give staff the knowledge, skills and confidence to recognise if a detainee at the centre had been a victim of torture prior to arriving in the UK.
We worked with the client to make sure that included everything in the course including how to comply with The Detention Centre (Amendment) Rules 2018 which amended Rule 35 of the Detention Centre Rules 2001
