Falls Prevention and Responding the Fallen Person (including BLS) 

THIS COURSE IS AVAILABE NATIONWIDE AT YOUR LOCATION  
 
This course is designed for staff working in a role which involves responding to the 'fallen person', for example for a dedicated falls response service. 
 
This course was designed and delivered to staff at Colchester Helpline and is taught by an instructor with direct and current experience of working for this type of service 
 
Using your own emergency lifting equipment (such as the Mangar Elk) we can train your staff how to use it effectively and efficiently and as safely as possible 
 
 
The training will also focus on problem solving and also dealing with more difficult lifts. 
 
In the second part of the course basic life support (first aid) will be taught giving learners the skills and knowledge to respond to a medical emergency including an opportunity to practice skills like CPR.
