Internal Quality Assessor (IQA) for First Aid Training 

 
 
An IQA is a nominated person within a training organisation who has the responsibility for making sure that trainers and assessors working within that organisation are training and assessing learners correctly. 
 
Their role includes observations of training as well as reveiwing learning outcomes and making recommendations. 
 
If you are a sole trader or 'one man band' you may not have a full time IQA or you may be a growing business needing to employ another IQA to assist you.
